Participants explore how AI can assist with document review\, scope understanding\, assumptions\, validation\, and internal coordination\, while maintaining estimator control and accountability. \n\n\n\nThrough guided practice\, attendees work through a realistic estimating scenario using project documents\, assumptions\, and validation techniques. The session emphasizes practical prompting\, scope checks\, and RFI-style thinking rather than automated takeoffs or black-box outputs. \n\n\n\nBy the end of the workshop\, participants will have refined estimating workflows and begun building reusable AI assistants and templates they can continue to use and adapt in preconstruction work. \n\n\n\n\n\n. \n\n\n\n Workshop Outcomes \n\n\n\n\nUnderstand where AI adds value in estimating and where human judgment is critical\n\n\n\nApply AI to document-driven estimating and preconstruction workflows\n\n\n\nUse AI to support scope review\, assumption development\, and validation\n\n\n\nPractice prompting techniques that improve clarity and reduce risk\n\n\n\nIdentify common pitfalls and limitations when using AI in estimating\n\n\n\nBegin building reusable AI assistants and templates to support preconstruction work\n\n\n\nLeave with workflows and tools that be used immediately on real projects\n\n\n\n\nWho Should Attend: This workshop is designed for estimators\, preconstruction professionals\, and project teams involved in early-stage planning and pricing within construction companies.
