This 32-hour program encompasses four in-depth units covering everything from BIM basics to advanced technology\, project execution\, and implementation strategies. It’s interactive\, with real-world case studies\, ensuring you gain practical\, applicable skills. Completing the program qualifies you to earn the prestigious Certificate of Management – Building Information Modeling (CM-BIM)\, marking you as a leader in digital construction. \n\n\n\n\n\nTechnology and ParticipationFor the classroom: \n\n\n\n\nPlease have Zoom downloaded.\n\n\n\nComputer with dual monitor preferred.\n\n\n\nLaptop is good with a separate tablet to access their etextbook.\n\n\n\nTablet or phone is ok with hardcopy textbook\n\n\n\nTwo mobile devices ok – one for the meeting and one for the e-textbook\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor participation: \n\n\n\n\nCamera\, either built in or added on and ready to stream to the classroom.\n\n\n\nHeadphones or earbuds with microphones are preferred\n\n\n\nComputer/device mic and speakers are ok if in private\, quiet room.\n\n\n\nEach student should be on their own computer/laptop/tablet\, if possible. Send transfer requests to rockkie.dunton[@]agc.org.  \n\n\n\nAGC reserves the right to cancel programs up to 10 days prior to the start date if a minimum number of attendees is not met. \n\n\n\nQuestions? Email us at education[@]agc.org \n\n\n\n\n\n\nMeet Your Course Instructor:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAdam Lega \n\n\n\nAdam graduated from the University of Kansas in 1997 with his Bachelor of Science degree\, where he double majored in Architecture and English. He found his focus in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Information Technology (IT).  \n\n\n\nAdam has been in the Design and Construction industry since graduation\, where he worked at the original Revit Technology Corporation before Autodesk acquired them. In that time\, he developed standards\, mapped workflow processes\, and established deliverables for BIM across the AECO industries.

Dan is currently the President of Practical BIM Solutions\, which provides training and consulting services to contractors to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Before this role\, Dan spent three years with Sturgeon Electric as their BIM Manager and had a 23-year career with Sundt Construction. \n\n\n\nDan is a recognized national speaker on Building Information Modeling (BIM)\, LEAN Construction\, and VDC\, speaking at many AGC\, AIA\, FHWA\, and other industry functions and educational institutions. He is one of the primary authors of the “AGC Contractor’s Guide to BIM” and helped develop the AGC BIM Education Program. He is also an instructor for the AGC BIM and LEAN Education Programs.

Working in the industry since 2010\, he has become a reference in the Latin America region. He focuses on promoting and utilizing emerging technologies to create new experiences that allow companies to maximize resources\, whether designing\, building\, maintaining\, or selling a project. Ariel has proven his expertise by working on high-demand construction jobs\, implementing new technologies\, and incorporating new project delivery processes in multimillion-dollar projects. He also creates BIM content for the industry through his BIMnomad Newsletter and as a co-host on the Shared Coordinates podcast. Ariel was featured in 40 Under 40: Construction Champions of 2019.
