DESCRIPTION:Classes are held Monday through FridayDecember 7\, 8\, 9\, 10\, 1110:30 AM – 6:30 PM EST  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Course\n\n\n\nAGC Edge Project Manager Development Program (PMDP) is highly interactive and offers 40-hours of construction-specific training developed and field-tested by and for contractors. The collaborative virtual program provides instruction via Zoom to prepare construction industry professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge to increase the participant’s ability to work successfully with others to ensure project success. \n\n\n\nPMDP consists of five units\, each focusing on critical aspects of project management\, from initiation and planning to execution\, monitoring\, controlling\, and closeout. You’ll gain insights into construction law\, safety\, contract management\, stakeholder engagement\, cost estimation\, quality assurance\, and much more. The program is designed not just to teach but to engage you with practical activities and shared experiences. \n\n\n\nWhether you’re looking to build a solid foundation for your career or seeking to advance your project management skills\, PMDP provides the knowledge and tools necessary for ensuring project success in the dynamic field of construction. \n\n\n\nAfter completing the course\, students receive a Certificate of Completion and a digital badge to share. \n\n\n\n\n\n. \n\n\n\nSchedule of Classes \n\n\n\nUnit 1 – An Introduction to Project ManagementUnit 2 – Initiating and Planning Part 1Unit 3 – Initiating and Planning Part 2Unit 4 – Executing Unit 5 – Monitoring\, Controlling\, and Project Closeout \n\n\n\nPMDP Learning Objectives  \n\n\n\nCancellation Policy: A full refund will be given to cancellations made 14 calendar days prior to the class kick-off. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering and her master’s degree in Project Engineering and Management\, both from Montana Tech. She has over 20 years of diverse experience in the field\, including working for oil and gas companies\, private consulting\, and construction in Alaska. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAGC’s Project Management Development Program offers participants up to 40 hours of professional development with the opportunity to receive the following continuing education credits (CEUs): \n\n\n\n3.9 IACET CEUs | The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is accredited by the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and offers IACET CEUs for its learning events that comply with the ANSI/IACET Continuing Education and Training Standard. IACET is recognized internationally as a standard development organization and accrediting body that promotes quality of continuing education and training. \n\n\n\nIn order to qualify for CEUs\, participants must: \n\n\n\n\nAttend the course for at least 95% of instruction time.\n\n\n\nComplete the course assessment via the AGC Learning Center with a score of 75% or greater.

The Planning and Scheduling unit in AGC’s Supervisory Training Program\, 10th edition equips you with the technical skills necessary to ensure your projects run smoothly from start to finish. The highly collaborative virtual program provides instruction via Zoom and is best suited for anyone on a construction jobsite in a supervisory role – from the new supervisor or foreman to the experienced superintendent who is looking to become a more effective manager of people\, time\, equipment and materials. \n\n\n\n\nComprehensive Project Planning: Learn how to meticulously plan every aspect of your project.
